    That’s interesting that an insurance company usually won’t pay a person who’s been an accident fro the lost value of the vehicle but rather only for damages. This doesn’t seem very fair, especially if you didn’t cause the accident and you had a newer car. It would be smart for the person who’d been in the accident to file a claim for the diminished auto value against to insurance company so they can be compensated for the loss of value on their car and not have to worry too much about losing thousands of dollars after an accident.
